The Saudi Ministry of Interior has reviewed and begun the updation of forms of movement permit during curfew hours for entities excluded from the curfew order.

 

Under the updated regulations, it is required for all government establishments to issue necessary permits for their employees and to get it stamped by competent authorities of the Interior Ministry.

In addition, government entities are also required to issue permits for employees in private sector who are under its supervision.

 

If staffs and employees are travelling by buses, then bus drivers are required to obtain a permit which includes specifying the number of passengers, which should not exceed 50 percent of the passenger load, the number plate details, the bus route, number of working days and time in addition to adhering to the necessary health requirements of the passengers.

 

The new regulations will be effective from Monday starting from the capital city, Riyadh, and any violators will be fined up to SR 10,000 in addition to other legal procedures.
