The Directorate General of Passports (Jawazat) has called on all expatriates in the Kingdom who do not have accounts in “Absher”, the electronic service platform, to register at the earliest.

Registration in the online portal will aid expatriates to make use of electronic services provided by the Jawazat sitting at home without having to visit the Jawazat office each time for various requirements. The services include iqama, payments, driving license, family data, special services and much more.

Moreover, upon registration on this platform expatriates can access employer data and be informed of the services and procedures implemented for them by employers. Saudi Arabia is focusing more on digitizing services in order to ensure quick implementation and to improve the quality of services.
