The Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP) has started accepting applications for registration of trademarks from interested parties in the Kingdom in line with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) trademark law.

Since its establishment in 2018, the SAIP envisions to be a pioneer of intellectual property in the Middle East and North Africa region and has been dedicated in completing the work that has been done by the Ministry of Commerce and Investment in areas of trademarks by improving the existing laws and joining international agreements in this regard, such as the Madrid Protocol, the Nice Agreement and the Vienna Agreement.

SAIP authorities have launched a web portal, www.saip.gov.sa/Sample, and calls for anyone interested in using the services related to trademark to communicate through this portal by completing the required data or through its official channels.
