Saudi Arabia will hold the Kingdom’s first Municipal Investments Forum at the Riyadh International Convention Center on February 24, the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs announced.
The forum, titled as ‘Furas’, which means opportunities, will feature an exhibition where municipalities across the Kingdom will present over 5,000 investment opportunities.
The ministry’s deputy minister for planning and programs, Khalid Al-Dughaither, said the forum seeks to expand the base of competitors for the investment opportunitiesĀ presented by all of the Kingdom’s municipalitiesĀ in various economic fields.
Furas will also introduce investors and the private sector to the initiatives focused on developing the municipal sector’s investment system, he added.
